Behind the Skis with Rossignol’s Nick Castagnoli

by Mike Horn

One of the most storied brands in all of skiing, Rossignol is renowned for creating products that both make skiing easier and perform at a very high level. Their Experience series is just that, which is why we’re excited about the new Rossignol Experience Center located in Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s Mountaineer Square.

In describing the Experience series of skis, Rossignol explains: “A combination of Auto Turn Rocker, Extended Sidecut and Cascade Tip deliver an incredible allmountain experience for every skier type. As skier input and skill levels increase, performance levels amplify in all snow conditions. Traditional camber underfoot with aggressive sidecuts provides powerful edge grip and confident stability on hard snow. Tip and tail rocker provides easy maneuverability, playfulness and effortless speed control. The Experience series conquers the entire mountain achieving a whole new benchmark of uncompromising on and offtrail versatility.”

We checked in with Rossignol’s Nick Castagnoli to go a little deeper on the Experience Center program, and get a sneak peak at what hot products are coming on line next year.
