Crested Butte’s breathtaking landscape offers the perfect backdrop for weddings! Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers spectacular views combined with unique reception venues, professional catering staff, and first class lodging! A majestic setting in the Colorado Rocky Mountains beside the 12,162 ft peak of Mt Crested Butte makes for some stunning wedding shots. Check out these amazing wedding pictures taken around the valley!

Photo 1. This was an amazing moment. The couple had an outdoor ceremony at Wilder Reserve and the entire time it was lightly raining. The moment the bride and groom began to walk down the aisle, a rainbow appeared. I quickly ushered everyone into the beautiful tall grass for this extraordinary photo op. It was magical! Everyone was so excited about the beautiful rainbow, a jump in the air seemed very fitting.

Photo 2. The girls were standing on the bridge giggling and chatting drinking champagne. I was looking for a shot of all the cowboy boots but also took a wide shot. I love this image because everyone is so natural and relaxed and the sunburst gives it a warm glowing feeling.

Photo 3. This bride and groom were a very laid back couple. We were on the Woods Walk shooting in the aspens and I asked them to sit for a few images. She is about a foot taller then the groom so this was a nice opportunity for them to be at eye level. I chose to give this photo a vintage feel because it adds another layer of interest

Photo 4. This couple was so sweet and expressive. they were clearly in love and the images were full of emotion. There were a lot of tears shed throughout the ceremony and when we did our portraits, they began to laugh together. I love this moment.

Photo 5. I was with the bride and groom taking portrait images of just the two of them by the lake where they held their ceremony. The kids were playing nearby and this little flower girl was really enjoying dipping her toes in the water. She was so sweet and innocent, I had to capture a few moments.

Photo 6. We were spending a few hours touring around Crested Butte taking iconic images with the bridal party. As we were walking down Elk Ave to our next location, I noticed this great sunburst through the trees. I asked the groom to jump up on the flowerpot and give me a good “hang” from the light post. The bride jumped up too and I shot off a few frames. I think it is a really great iconic shot of Elk Avenue and historic downtown.

Photo 8. Abby Road. the bride and groom wanted to parody the famous album cover. The crosswalk on Elk Ave with Mt. Crested Butte in the background was the perfect place to create this playful shot.
